New Year’s Detox Smoothie
- 3 bananas
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1 head parsley
- 1 celery stalk
- 1/8 lemon with skin
- Water to blend
Parsley is very cleansing to the body, filled with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. The parsley, along with the lemon, make this smoothie very light tasting and refreshing. I was questioning using so much parsley in a sweet smoothie but it’s delicious! Just what I need for this new year. Check out more health benefits of parsley :)
Yum! My mother gave me a nutria-bullet for christmas and it’s great! works so much better than a blender. Only downside is you’re not supposed to use any sort of dairy product. Oh well, more room for veggies, right?! Anyway, trying this tomorrow!
